ADMIN POST - VERY IMORTANT

All right people, since this community appears to be somehow... dead, here is another try to make it more popular again.
Once upon a time I was asked if the rules could be slightly lessened. I decided against it then, but now I'm starting to reconsider my decision. (Which doesn't mean I'm sure about changing rules, I'm just thinking about it and that's exactly why I'm asking about yours opinion.)

There are four options I'm considering and I'd want to know which one you'd prefer, if you had something to say in this subject ;)

First of all, I wanted to say a few words about every one of the options.

Option #1: No More Dead-Line.
Which basically means you won't have to bother about the fact that prompts are valid only for one month. Prompts will be posted once a month, but if in June you'll want to write for a challenge from February, then noe rules would forbid posting it in the community.

Good Sides:
+ You'll have more time to work on your fics
+ You won't give up before trying just because the deadline would scare you away.
+ If at some point you couldn't write, but you wanted to, you would be able to explore the past challenges later on.

Bad Sides:
- It's sometimes really hard to mobilize yourself if there's no dead-line. You may be temped to postpone the time of writing your fics until you'd give up completely.
- It'd be way less organized.
- It'd make writing those fics a lesser challenge.

Option #2: No More Words Count.
You're writing as many stories and with a dead-line, but there's no '10.000' words expectation. You may as well write '1.000' words of '50.000'.

Good Sides:
+ I heard that the amount of 10.000 words scares some of potential writers away.
+ Sometimes, with so many prompts, it's easier to write a series of drabbles.
+ With an option of writing smaller amount of words, the dead-line won't be as scarry.

Bad Sides:
- You won't explore the character you're writing about as much in much smaller amount of words.
- You won't be challenged into writing longer stories and you may get lazier, because of that and write only short drabble-like pieces.
- It'd make writing those fics a lesser challenge.

Option #3: No More Story Limits.
No more rule about the fact that you have to write a story to every prompt from a challenge. There are seven prompts that works for your character? So write seven stories!

Good Sides:
+ Sometimes in a challenge few prompts so obviously works for one of your favorite characters that you really want to write an answer to a challenge, but the other prompts don't work completely.
+ You'll have more words to work on the prompts you choose.
+ Sometimes it's hard to - in one month - think of 13 plot-lines and new ideas.

Bad Sides:
- It may be hard to spend 10.000 words only on few prompts.
- With 13 prompts - especially the ones that at first seem to not work for your character - you have to explore some aspects of your character that you wouldn't thought of before.
- It'd make writing those fics a lesser challenge.

Option #4: Braking-Up The Union Of a Monthly Challenges.
Which basically means that you still have to write 10.000 words, and you still have only one month to do so, and you still have to write 13 stories, but you may choose your prompts by yourself. For example to suit your character you may choose five prompts from January, three from March, two from April and three from June.

Good Sides:
+ You won't be able to complain that some prompts don't work for you.
+ You'll be more responsible for what you can write ;)
+ In case your muse decides that idea you had at the beginning is not worth doing, you may found new prompt to work on.

Bad Sides:
- You may be tempted to work only on prompts that clearly and obviously works for your character, but not to explore some that at first sight completely don't work for it.
- You may be tempted to wait forever until you'll find 13 perfect prompts. (Thanks to the character of this change, the dead-line will have to go as well.)
- It'd make writing those fics a lesser challenge.

Please, vote and help me with bringing this community to life!

(PS. Even if you'll vote and choose one option and I'll actually agree with it, I won't make the change before the next challenge, so keep on writing for this month challenge! :))

OKAY, SINCE LJ OBVIOUSLY HATE ME TODAY, YOU JUST HAVE TO WRITE IN A COMMENT WHAT YOU CHOOSE. SORRY, NOT REALLY MY FAULT.
